![]() What is the difference between those two words? Think about that for a minute. I can move and make no forward progress. I can act on that movement. Even if I only move one step forward, I can see a new perspective. Yesterday, I noticed a baby, bright-neon-green, lizard on the creamy white hydranga petals. As I turned to grab my phone for a picture, it moved just enough to be hidden. I can move like that, too. Can you? ![]() My first fiction book, Everybody Lies, is now on audio with a soprano English-speaking narrator. What a surreal experience to listen to my words being read! My proof copy shipped today. One step closer to getting those corrections into the print version. I cannot thank you enough for your support and kind words.

What do you pay attention to? I am often drawn to sounds that disrupt my thought process, whether I want to pay attention to them or not. Clicking pens, ticking clocks, anything that makes a sound on repeat, distract me so much that I no longer focus on what is important. How about you? Can you see my cat? Random is okay. The need to wander This week, I was not able to focus on one hard topic for discussion. My mind was all over the place. I am okay with that and hopeful that you will be, too.
