Clueless and Subliminal I am sometimes clueless. I don’t take hints well or even realize someone is trying to send me a subliminal message. It’s better for me if people communicate with me straightforwardly and to the point. Overthinking and Humility I can overthink just as easily. All of these mental gyrations can puff up my ego, and all the humility I have worked on is gone. I am right. I am better off. “I am” takes over.
I have made some purging progress, as well as writing three zero-draft scenes of my next adult fiction. It’s called that because it’s so raw and unrefined, it’s less than a first draft. I have learned that every piece of writing starts with randomness, rough edges, and so much potential. Check out my website for books to give your people for Christmas. I have two more book club talks scheduled for November and some tentative ones for January. Please consider adding your review to my Amazon page. Wishing you a great and peaceful start to November.

Sometimes, I needed to be alone when I was called to be with a lot of great people. Sometimes, I needed those same great people, and I...
Where are you this week? Are you feeling like a bubblegum ball in a dispenser pinging all over the place, hoping for a chance to be dropped in the slot? When you realize you have finally dropped in the slot, you are consumed with not an ounce of flavor left. Awe… what joy! Take 5 minutes and ponder with me how to handle being an appreciator and a performer. I am on scene 20 (of 40) for book 2. This is a journey with the bare essentials and no frills—a time to get the words down and keep...
Setting up and taking down. Starting again and starting over. Losing focus and regaining wisdom. All the words matter. When we share a kind word with someone else on a regular basis, we are bound to connect with someone who needed to hear what we said. Keep sharing the kind words even if you have no idea where they will land or who will hear them. If you need a course to help you learn how to lead worship, check out this link for details. I am leading the course in January. It is all online...
