Criticism and complaining

What is your go-to when you are frustrated?

In your frustration, do you ever find yourself more critical and more of a complainer?

At times like these, I have to remind myself to stop my negative thinking and change my mindset. It is not only good for me, but for everyone else who might happen to be in my path.

Learning how to do this in my 60’s has been amazing. For most of my life, I told myself that I could not change. In a way, that was true. I could not change such hard-set habits without God’s help.

To be set free is truly life-changing!

I am catching up with my schedule and plans to accomplish, to rest, to take care of myself and to enjoy every moment of life that I can. My family surprised my mom on an ordinary Sunday with a visit of 22 of us- 5 generations in all. What a blessing for all of us!

How can I pray for you?

Trees in sunlight offer questions to ponder

What do you have? What do you need? What do you want? Is it time to value or lo let loose? Thinking about what you must do, what you should do, and what you could do can be a daunting task. I am always somewhere between those three options. When I focus on what I could do more than what I must do, I can allow myself room to dream, to be a beginner, and to try something different. What about you? How are you managing your time and holding on to hope? You matter. Helping you grow your faith

A small butterfly rests on a person's finger.

Do you ever feel like what is the point of starting something if you can’t finish it? Are you focused on the big, enormous outcome instead of the little progress? Taking a bite of the elephant is the only way to make progress. I have been pleasantly surprised lately to the point of celebrating the small steps I can make.
